- Vietnam
Vietnam is one of those places that seem fairly hypocritical. They have all these amazing sights and tourist attractions and yet they are so less painfully-priced than what they’re worth. For example, a dorm bed will only cost you about $7 for one night. As a matter of fact, you can also easily get around with as much as £5 a day with local food, a guest house, transport and some drinking as well.
- India
Staying at an international hotel and going around some of Mumbai’s designer shops is as much of a pinch as it is in Dubai. But anything other than that is seriously as low as one can imagine. The Shatabdi or the Rajdhani Express are pretty much the luxurious land rails to go on. The meals come with the ticket prices and the rooms are fully air-conditioned at that.
- Thailand
If Thailand hasn’t figured into your travel plans yet, it’s not too late to start now. We mean this well especially if you want to gaze at the heavenly beaches, the well-maintained beach huts, the scrumptious fine dining and the grand adventures that come with it. The prices remain low even if tourists come around far too often.
- China
With things like the Great Wall, noodles and martial arts, it is no wonder China is at the top of every traveler’s list. As a matter of fact, China has been on the minds of the world ever since Marco Polo made his presence at the Silk Road. Be warned, however, China has become so well-developed that nothing is as cheap as it once was. But it is still nevertheless a regular budget destination no less.
The hotels cost around $20 a day, local transportation is no more than a dollar and you pay about $2-5 for a meal.
