Different Plans To Do In Mallorca This Summer

Mallorca is much more than Mallorca. The Mediterranean island par excellence not only for Spain but for half of Europe stands out from others for its enormous and natural attractions and its hectic schedule of leisure activities for all tastes.

Unfortunately lately, it has been disrupted by a not so friendly tourism and not so graceful with the charms that the largest island in the Balearics displays. For this reason, from this page we want to emphasize different plans to do and which make the island a treasure to discover: from diving on a cruise in caves that causes commotions to aspire to become the new Nadal with  complete tennis summer camps in Mallorca.

Different Plans To Do In Mallorca This Summer

Visit to the caves of Drach

Spendinga few days in Mallorca and not visiting these magnificent rock formations located in the town of Manacorcan be considered a crime.

Without doubt, the feeling of entering into this set of four caves on the Mediterranean coast is capital: one of those images that will remain engraved in the mind and leave you breathless.

Can we further improve this unique feeling? If we add to this so much beauty, alive classical concertamong the ones which are celebrated inside and, later, we cross its inland lakes by boat, there is no doubt that the feelingwill make us fall in love with Mallorca forever.

Tennis summer camp in Rafa Nadal Academy

What famous athlete has taken the name of Mallorca around the world? If we talk about Spanish (and international) tennis, Rafael Nadal name should come to our mind directly. What if we take the summer weeks to offer our sports fan children such a good school that they may becometennis champions?

Without leaving Manacor we can enjoy these newly opened facilities where, for two and a half months (from June 18 until August 28) they cannotjust learn or improve tennis technique but imbibe the knowledge and experience of the technical teamof confidence of the world champion and theSpanish tennis player par excellence.

Sóller Railway

Exploringthe island is a huge pleasure. Mallorca is an island full ofcorners where wherever you look, everything is beauty and monumentality. And it’seven more wonderfulif part of the route is done by this charming train featuring the railroad era, completely preserved as it was in the early 20th centuryand which makes the journey from Palma de Mallorca to Sóller.

Every half hour we can travel to this small coastal town whose  natural harbor must be remarked, its tram to the port, with similar characteristics to the rail and run by the same century-old company, and the Picada Tower, a watchtower dating from the time which it had to protect the town from the dreaded corsairs.

Sa Pobla jazz festival

The culture goes beyond the island, and this can be seen in itsbusy agendawhich includes festivals and celebrations such as this charming Jazz Festival, which this year celebrates its 22nd edition in this cozy emblematic town known by its regional festivals.

The first week of August we can move to this corner, located among other places of high tourist interest such as L’Alcudia and Pollença, to enjoy the best and most elegant jazz concerts accompanied by an excellent weather and an even better Mediterranean cuisine.
